Welcome – Key Dates and Call for Abstracts

On behalf of the Organising Committee, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the World Conference on Carbon 2017 to be held in Melbourne, Australia from 23-28 July 2017.

The World Conference on Carbon 2017, whose theme is Carbon for Grand Challenges, will bring together around 800 scientists, engineers and technologists from across academia and industry to learn about and debate the latest advances in the carbon world. It is anticipated the programme will be composed of five parallel sessions over five days, all kicked-off by an outstanding set of plenary and keynote lectures focused on setting the scene in areas that span from the underpinning materials science and engineering through to advances in the characterisation of carbon and on to applications spanning from the traditional through to the more novel.

Visit the website for further information and we look forward to welcoming you to the Conference in Melbourne in July 2017.

The World Conference on Carbon 2017 Conference Chair

We are also happy to tailor packages not currently available in the prospectus.

In addition to this, a major element of the Congress will be the exhibition. The daily Congress program will be structured to give participants maximum opportunity to visit the exhibition.
